one green tea popsicle please

What would make a sweltering summer afternoon a little bit better?

What's that you say... how can you drink hot green tea in the dead of summer, in that humidity, in the hot hot heat?

Because, when you make some green tea add a little honey and put that hot goodness in a popsicle mold you get a green tea ice pop.
Sadly at my house we only have one surviving popsicle mold from when I was a tot.  So, I only made one. Which was plenty enough for one gal, but when you have a house full of people you must have more.  Just one popsicle is not an option.  This recipe is so simple and easy, perfect for a last minute treat or pick me up.

Green Tea Ice Pop

 Green Tea
Honey/Sugar
Ice Pop Molds

To begin boil some water in a tea pot (or just a pot).  Add your green tea bags (you can determine the strength you want. I would add around three or even four to give it a bit more flavor).  Let the tea steep.  While the tea is still warm add the honey/sugar, I used wildflower honey for mine, yum :)  Next, add the green tea to the molds.  Place the molds in the freezer.

Once your pop is frozen, pull those babies out of the freezer and run cold water over the molds for a second to help them release from the molds easier.

Enjoy!!
